چکیده

This work introduces the notion of a computational resource for organizing knowledge developed for natural language realization, the Upper Model. The generalized upper model has been implemented mainly for Latin languages. Would such model be able to support Arabic with minor modifications? A limited number of areas where Arabic and English grammars differ are listed to display possible areas where changes to the upper model may be needed to support Arabic generation. The need of adapting the current upper model to support natural language generation for Arabic is highlighted. Procedures for future research work in the field are described.

Some Differences Between Arabic and English: A Step Towards an Arabic Upper Model

Arabic Grammar, Arabic Upper Model, Arabic Gemeration. Arabic has had wellestablished theoretical studies for more than 1000 years. However, If Arabic is compared with other languages, it has received much less modern computational interest. The aim of this research work is to try to make use of some of the Arabic linguistic theories and adapt them to be used in machine processing. To start wit...

UPPER BOUNDS FOR FINITENESS OF GENERALIZED LOCAL COHOMOLOGY MODULES

Let $R$ be a commutative Noetherian ring with non-zero identity and $fa$ an ideal of $R$. Let $M$ be a finite $R$--module of finite projective dimension and $N$ an arbitrary finite $R$--module. We characterize the membership of the generalized local cohomology modules $lc^{i}_{fa}(M,N)$ in certain Serre subcategories of the category of modules from upper bounds. We define and study the properti...

A generalized upper bound solution for bimetallic rod extrusion through arbitrarily curved dies

In this paper, an upper bound approach is used to analyze the extrusion process of bimetallic rods through arbitrarily curved dies. Based on a spherical velocity field, internal, shearing and frictional power terms are calculated. The developed upper bound solution is used for calculating the extrusion force for two types of die shapes: a conical die as a linear die profile and a streamlined di...

Modeling and Performance Evaluation of Energy Consumption in S-MAC Protocol Using Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets

One of the features of wireless sensor networks is that the nodes in this network have limited power sources. Therefore, assessment of energy consumption in these networks is very important. What has been common practice has been the use of traditional simulators to evaluate the energy consumption of the nodes in these networks. Simulators often have problems such as fluctuating output values i...

An Upper Bound Solution for Analysis of Twist Extrusion Process with Elliptical Die Cross-section

Twist extrusion process is a rather new route to produce highly strained materials. In this process, severe plastic deformation is applied by large shear strains. In current article, required energy for twist extrusion by use of admissible velocity field together with the upper bound technique is predicted. The proposed model is capable of considering the effect of various parameters such as di...
